Parisi offers PEAK training for Elite Athletes

Parisi Speed School at the Atlantic Club is excited to offer PEAK (Parisi Elite Athletic Knowledge) Sports Specific Performance Training beginning this January.

The PEAK programs are designed for elite athletes looking to compete at the highest level of his or her specific sport. Each class will be hyper-focused on desired improvements in relation to football, baseball, soccer and lacrosse.

There are a maximum of 12 spots available in each PEAK Performance class. These spots are reserved for serious high school athletes looking to reach new heights of athletic performance. Programs are kept small purposely, enabling Parisi Performance Coaches to monitor progress and work on the specific needs of individual athletes.

In addition to sports specific training, each program will utilize advanced training tools and methodologies to improve athletes’ coordination, running technique, body weight strength, first step quickness and self-confidence.

Programs begin the first week of January and continue for 10 weeks. Space is limited, reserve your spot here.

Aspiring Soccer Players Invited to “Train with the Pros” at the Atlantic Club this Month

Yael 3Yael Averbuch, professional soccer player for FC Kansas City and former North Carolina Tarheel, will be hosting a girls soccer clinic, right here at the Atlantic Club Fieldhouse. She will be accompanied by Rachel Breton, professional soccer player for Sky Blue FC and Rutgers women’s soccer alum and Gibby Wagner, former captain of the Boston College women’s soccer team. Register here.

Yael is a native of Montclair, NJ and like many young players in the area, has been playing soccer since she was just 7 years old. By the time she was 9, she knew she wanted to be a professional soccer player. Since that time, Yael has become a household name in the world of women’s soccer.

While in school at the University of North Carolina, Yael won two NCAA National Championships, set an NCAA record with 105 consecutive starts, and scored the fastest goal in women’s collegiate soccer history. She been playing professionally since 2009, boasting multiple league championship titles playing for teams like Sky Blue FC, Western NY Flash and FC Kansas City alongside soccer’s greatest players.

Averbuch also left her mark internationally, playing for the United States youth national teams at every level. She earned her first caps with the full national team in 2007, and in 2010 she scored her first goal against Costa Rica during a CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup qualifier.

On December 23rd, 2015, Yael will be hosting two sessions, each including an hour long clinic and a 30 minute Q&A period with time for photos and autographs. The first session, for ages 7-12, will take place from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The second session, for ages 13-17 will take place from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The event will include everything from training proper technique and technical efficiency to skills challenges. “The opportunity to meet Yael and hear her speak about how to improve each players foot skills -from a world class player and soccer educator – is a very special opportunity for soccer players at all stages of their career,” said Kevin McHugh, COO of the Atlantic Club. “Making simple adjustments to a player’s foot skills can be a difference maker that can significantly improve a player’s performance,” he added.

The cost to attend the event is $50. In addition, The Atlantic Club will be providing any athletes that attend the event a $50 discount promo code to be used towards any Parisi Academy or PEAK Program. “The Parisi Speed School at The Atlantic Club’s mission is to build an athlete’s self-confidence, speed, strength and agility by incorporating the best drills and techniques offered in the industry,” McHugh said.
“We are very confident that athletes that experience our sports specific Academies or our PEAK Performance sports specific group training will complete our programs with not only enhanced skills but a high sense of confidence in their ability to maximize their potential. That is what it is all about!” he added.

The Atlantic Club looks forward to bringing such an accomplished and empowering athlete to the area, to meet and train with young soccer players. Yael brings more than just soccer knowledge to the table. She plays abroad in countries around the world, writes a soccer blog for the New York Times and started her own successful YouTube Channel – Yfutbol.

The Atlantic Club wants to offer the opportunity to meet and train with Yael to local soccer players. The Atlantic Club is giving free spots to players from local soccer clubs – Point Pleasant Soccer Club, Wall Soccer Club, Monmouth Coast Soccer Club – as well as local recreation departments and churches. Meeting an athlete with a retired jersey at UNC and multiple professional league championships is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many hopeful soccer players. The Atlantic Club wants to be sure to offer the opportunity to those who may not have been able to attend otherwise. During this holiday season, it’s especially nice to give this opportunity to some young and aspiring athletes to train and speak with the pros.

Get Your FREE Parisi Evaluation Today

The Parisi Speed School is offering FREE evaluations to new and current athletes of all ages, from now through December 31st. Evaluations can be beneficial for all athletes in helping to monitor and record their success here at Parisi.

The Parisi Evaluation is the best way for our sports performance training staff to observe an athlete’s level of ability and to design programs accordingly. It is critical for providing individualized coaching catered to each athlete’s needs.

Recently, the Parisi Speed School has been expanding its programming and adding a number of new classes. By performing evaluations, the Parisi training staff is able to properly place athletes in a variety of programming.

During the evaluation, athletes will work with a member of the sports performance staff, who will asses the athlete’s current level of ability. During the session, athletes are taught the signature Active Dynamic Warm-Up, are examined during our Running Analysis Procedure and are tested in a variety of speed and strength movements. Afterwards, each athlete and parent will meet with the evaluator to review the results and select the appropriate program that fits the athlete’s needs.

The Parisi December Training Schedule lists the available times of evaluations this month. If you are interested in signing up for a FREE evaluation, please register here.
